What is the APG feature, and what can I do with it?

Accelerated Plethysmography (APG) measures the changes in absorption in your blood volume to understand ageing in your vascular system, make an earlier prediction of arteriosclerosis prediction and detect abnormalities of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular system.

Vyvo's LifeWatch Generation 2 is the only wearable device in the world to use its patent-pending side sensor capable of capturing sufficiently high-quality PPG (photoplethysmogram) signals to use with APG technology.

You can then see your results on the App.

The APG feature is available on:

Please note:

  • Your index finger must be clean and dry, otherwise it may affect the accuracy of the measurement.
  • The APG service is only available if you have an active monthly subscription.
